So.. It is almost a new year and I feel like I haven't accomplished much.. This year has been such a blur, and nothing exciting has really happened. I'm praying that 2010 will be more memorable, hopefully something I can look back on for the rest of my life ;).. I think only my close friends and family will get the hint.. hehe..
I'm in Kansas right now. I've been out here every year since I've been dating my boyfriend, his parents live here. This is one of the places I love most. Its so quiet and humble, very relaxing. It snowed quite a bit out here before we came and the wind was so bad that it created 5ft snow drifts.. obviously we got stuck on the way out.. It was fun though. I haven't seen this much snow in a long time.. Its kinda nice. My dog, Marley, came out with us too. She is a siberian husky and is having the best time. Another reason I love coming out here is the scenery is spectacular. There is always something new, old, interesting to look at. And you know me, a camera in one hand almost always! I always get some cool pictures when I'm out here. The river by their house is frozen right now and we walked on it today.. that was fun. I've never done that.. I'm just glad I didn't break the ice! Today was almost a gloomy, cold, dark day, my favorite. The color of the sky was darkish blue with a lot of clouds. It really made the frozen river look beautiful.
I've got my hot rice bags, my HUGE pillow, and tons of quilts.. GOOD NIGHT!
